A two-day circular hiking trip to Olympus starting from Gortsia, destination Petrostrοunga mountain shelter and the peak of Skourta.
The tour offers a gentle and affordable introduction to mountain trekking and lodge accommodation. The route we follow is of moderate difficulty and allows beginners to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature without excessive physical demands.

We depart from Thessaloniki on Saturday morning, bound for Litochoro and Mount Olympus. After a short stop, and after picking up the participants from other cities, we head to the forest location of Gorcia, from where we will start our hike. As we move forward, the path meanders through lush forests and opens up to a panoramic view as we approach the Petrostouga shelter (1,940m), where we will spend the night. In the afternoon, those who wish can attempt a climb to their first peak! The peak of Skοurta at 2476m with a breathtaking panoramic view of the high peaks of Olympus!
On Sunday, after having our breakfast and enjoying the view from one of the most beautiful balconies in Greece, we will start a gentle 9.6km route to Prionia (1,100m). There we will have time for recovery on the pedestals of Enipeas and food. Around 17:00 we will depart for our return.
