Thomas Karagiorgos
Thomas Karagiorgos is a graduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His love for sports and nature prompted him to complete his studies with a specialization in “Outdoor Recreational Activities and Sports Tourism”. He has completed two postgraduate degrees in leisure tourism (MSc) and business administration (MBA) respectively. Since 2019 he has been awarded a doctorate in the field of sports and recreation management and teaches at various university bodies as a research associate. He has been involved in the sport of alpine skiing since his childhood and has taken part in competitions in all national categories. He has been organizing and implementing ski learning programs since 2009 for all age groups of children and adults. His many years of experience combined with his knowledge of skiing led him to take the reins of the academy regarding the planning, organization and evaluation of its winter programs. You will find Thomas everywhere on the mountain or on some off-piste slope enjoying a descent!

Panagiotis Georgiou
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports, specializing in outdoor activities. Member of our team since the first year of school in 2006! He has worked in various areas of children’s entertainment and sports, such as children’s camps and sports teams. His love for nature and the mountain, as well as his great desire for working with children, still keeps him in our group to impart knowledge and experience to our little friends.
Apostolis Paparisoulis
Graduated from the School of Science of Physical Education and Sports with a specialization in winter sports – skiing and a member of the Panhellenic Association of Ski Coaches. Co-founder of PXP, with extensive experience in the field of outdoor activities and climbing. On the mountain you will find him teaching skiing with a lot of patience in the adult groups! Part of our team since 2008.

Giannis Tzolas
B.A.S.I (British Association of Snowsports Instructors) Level 1&2. Giannis is an adrenaline-lover and adventure athlete. Skiing, mountain running, rock climbing and motor sport are some of his favorite hobbies. When the snow melts you will find him on one of the Aegean islands, on his lifeguard tower, keeping you safe while enjoying your swim. We are sure that John’s young and old students have a lot to gain in improving their technique.
Niki Basagianni
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports with postgraduate studies in “Special education in teaching”. Niki grew up in the ski center of Vasilitsa as she comes from Grevena, she has been involved in Skiing and Snowboarding since a very young age and has been in our team since 2019. During the summer season you will find her in water areas as a water ski and wakeboard instructor. She is a fan of winter and summer extreme sports and her range of hobbies is very wide as she likes adventure and adrenaline.
Niki Basagianni
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports with postgraduate studies in “Special education in teaching”. George Stathouros
George started skiing at an early age (3 years old) and at the age of 6 he obtained an athlete card of the Volos Mountaineering Club. He is a keen lover of extreme sports and actively participates in open sea swimming and triathlon competitions as well as mountain triathlon & mountain biking. Through sports, the mountains have become an integral part of his life and in his free time you will find him both in the summer hiking and in the winter practicing his favorite sport, skiing.
Evangelia Merkou
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a specialization in classical sports and a master’s degree in “Maximizing human performance”. She has been teaching skiing for the last 8 years and has been involved in athletics since he was a baby. With her experience on the slopes and in the mountains she will put you in the game to have a great time on your skis!
Evangelia Merkou
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with a specialization in classical sports and a master’s degree in “Maximizing human performance”. With her experience on the slopes and in the mountains she will put you in the game to have a great time on your skis!
Zafeiris Tsapournas
Grad student from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University, specializing in skiing. Apart from the ski resorts, you will definitely meet him in the mountains of Pieria. He loves climbing Mount Olympus and the Pieria Mountains and will be happy to pass on his love of the mountains and the outdoors to the children. When the snow melts you will meet him on the shores of Pieria where he works as a lifeguard.
Gogo Nimpiti
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in winter sports. Her career in skiing began at the age of 11, where she took up cross-country skiing and later joined the National Team. At 18, he switched to biathlon, again earning a spot on the National Team. Today, Gogo focuses on alpine skiing, where she shines with her skills. Apart from skiing, she is passionate about nature, the mountains and the sea. Driven by the desire to instill her passion in the younger generation, Gogo is a beacon of inspiration in the world of winter sports.

Kosmas Grekos
Student of the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University. Lover of outdoor sports such as alpine skiing, climbing, mountain biking, mountaineering and surfing. His great love for skiing combined with his enthusiasm for activity & socializing with our little friends have pushed him to make it his goal to spread this love. You are more likely to achieve this on a mountain or sea than in the city where he lives. In the summer you will probably meet him on a sailing boat in Halkidiki.

Roula Theodorou
Graduated from the Faculty of Science of Physical Education and Sports of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a certified lifeguard. During the year, Roula is employed in gyms, children’s creative employment centers (KDAP) and in the swimming pool with children’s courses, as well as adult courses. In the past she has worked at children’s camps as a group leader and pool manager as well as at beaches and pools as a lifeguard. Her involvement in skiing began in 1999, and her love for children and imparting her knowledge brought her to the Explosivo team in 2010.
