A unique experience in one of the most beautiful rivers of Greece. On our route we will encounter water curtains, caves, waterfalls as well as two of the most famous and historical stone bridges, the bridge of Plaka which is the largest single-arched bridge in the Balkans, and Arta.
1st day
On Saturday we depart at 8:00 from Thessaloniki. After making a stop along the way, we expect to arrive at our hotel Princess Lanassa at noon. After settling in our rooms we rendezvous for our walk to the Prophet Elias chapel. The chapel has an altitude of 950 meters. From there we will be able to enjoy the magnificent view of Tzoumerki and also to admire the Delta formed between the Kalarritikos and Arachthos rivers. Then we return to the hotel for dinner or we can relax in its spa.
2nd day
On Sunday, after enjoying our breakfast, we depart for the waters of Arachthos. Upon our arrival at the starting point, we will receive the isothermal suits and the rest of the necessary equipment. From there, 10 kilometers of descent await us (about 2.5 hours), where we will live an incredible experience of action and relaxation, crossing the imposing gorge of Arachthos, and ending up at the famous bridge of Plaka.
At the end of the route, our bus will be waiting for us with our things so that we can change and start the return to Thessaloniki, with an intermediate stop in the picturesque Metsovo for coffee and dinner.
