Rafting is a group activity of going down a river in an inflatable boat. The crew consists of a river guide and from 6 to 10 rowers, depending on the size of the boat which is determined by the degree of difficulty of the river and the amount of water. On spring Sundays we plan day trips from Thessaloniki to the rivers of Venetikos B’ in Grevena and Angitis in Serres.

The excursion takes place with a minimum required number of entries of 15 people and a maximum of 35 people. Upon request there is also the possibility for a date and program of your choice in all the rivers of northern Greece.
Day rafting trip to Venetikos B’, in a beautiful meteoric landscape! Venetikos is a river in the prefecture of Grevena, it originates from the mountains of Smolikas, Vasilitsa, Orliakas and Valia Calda. It is one of the largest tributaries of the Aliakmonas. In about 2.5 hours from Thessaloniki we reach the village of Felli and the base where we will change and receive the necessary equipment. We will prepare for the descent and depart for the beginning of the route.
The route of Venetikos B’ is 9km, it starts from the bridge of Eleftherochori, crosses a small gorge and ends in the village of Agapi, at its junction with Aliakmonas. It has passes of 2nd degree of difficulty and duration of activity 2:00 – 2:30 hours, depending on the flow of the river. Children over 8 years old can participate in this route. After 2 – 2:30 hours of unique experience in the waters of Venetikos we depart for the return with a stopover in Grevena.
Day trip for rafting in Aliakmonas! Aliakmonas is the longest river in Greece. It originates from Grammos and its length reaches 300km. In about 2.5 hours from Thessaloniki we reach the village of Felli and the base where we will change and receive the necessary equipment. We will prepare for the descent and depart for the beginning of the route.
The route of Aliakmonas is 6km and starts from the confluence of the river with Venetiko B’. The descent is of the 2nd degree of difficulty with 3rd degree passages and the duration of the activity is 1:30 – 2:00 hours, depending on the flow of the river. Children over 8 years old can participate in this route. After the unique experience in the waters of Aliakmons, we depart for the return trip with a stopover in Grevena.
Day rafting trip to Angitis! The sources of the river are located in the city of Drama, in the tenagi of Philippi and in the village of Aggitis Drama, where are the homonymous springs which create the cave of Angitis. The cave is the largest river cave in the world and is the largest cave in Greece.
In about 1 hour and 45 minutes from Thessaloniki we reach the village of Symvoli, Serres and the base where we will change and receive the necessary equipment. We will prepare for the descent and depart for the beginning of the route.
The route we cross is 6km with 2nd & 3rd degree passes, between vertical rocks, which form the homonymous gorge of Aggitis. After passing outside the Alistrati cave and passing through narrow passages, we end up outside the village of Krinida (or Vitasta). After 1:30 – 2:00 hours of crossing the river (depending on the momentum of the water) we return to our original base, hand over our equipment and prepare for the return. Children over 10 years old can participate in this route.
