It’s time for our winter excursion in the Austrian Alps! Mayrhofen – Hippach is one of the most famous ski and snowboard destinations in Central Europe and is located in the geographical district of Tyrol, in the Zillertal Valley, just 170km away from Munich.

The greater area of Zillertal, at an altitude of 560m – 3250m, includes 535km of pistes and 180 lifts located in 4 areas (Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, Ski Gletscherwelt Zillertal). Mayrhofen consists of Mount Penken & Ahorn, at an altitude of 560m – 3250m, where the ski resorts Finkenberg, Rastkogel and Eggalm are located. It includes 142km of pistes and 58 lifts for every level of skier, the pist with the highest inclination (78%) in Austria, called “Harakiri”, as well as Penken Park with 6 different areas and gradations for every rider level . In addition to skiing, Mayrhofen is renowned for its apres-ski with restaurants, bars and various mountain and village events.

For Mayrhofen-Hippach we depart on __ March by Aegean direct flight to Munich.

Departure from Thessaloniki Airport is at __:__ with arrival at Munich Airport at __:__ (local time). We pick up our luggage and depart by road for the Alps, to the Zillertal Valley and the Mayrhofen-Hippach. After a 2.5 hour (195km) journey we arrive at the accommodation of our choice, settle in and plan the next day’s plan.

On the last day we depart at __:__ for Munich Airport, with the flight scheduled for __:__.

For our stay in the Zillertal Valley we chose the central Maria Theresia 3* in Mayrhofen and the Guesthouse Dornauer in nearby Hippach. Both accommodation rates include breakfast.

_prices are per person in a double room and include:

  • 5 nights in a double room with breakfast at the hotel of your choice. In Maria Theresia the use of the sauna & steam room
  • 1 hand luggage 8kg & 1 luggage 23kg. According to Aegean regulation, instead of 23kg luggage you can choose to get 1 ski / snb equipment free of charge. If you take a 23kg luggage, ski / snb equipment will be charged an extra 100€

_important Information:

  • To travel to Austria / Germany you need a passport or a new type of identity card with Latin characters. The organizer shall not be liable if the customer does not have the legal documents for crossing the borders. The service IDs do not constitute a travel document. Holders of non-Greek documents are responsible for their crossing of the border (more information can be obtained from the Austrian / German Embassy or Consulate)
  • Children up to 12 years old travel only with passports
  • Children under 18 traveling with a parent need a validated authorization/consent form of the other parent. Children traveling without parents need validated authorization/consent form from both parents
  • According to the international hotel rules you can pick up your room from 14:00 and check out until 12:00
