Venetikos is a river in the county of Grevena. It stems from the mountainous volumes of Smonika, Vasilitsa, Orliaka and Valia Kalda. It flows east and it is one of the largest tributaries of Aliakmonas. A little further south of Grevena it flows through the vertical conglomerate rocks and forms the famous gates of Venetikos.

Our route to the river starts from the bridge of Eleftherochori, crosses a small canyon and terminates in its contribution with Aliakmonas. It has passes of 2nd degree difficulty and duration of descent 1:30′ – 1:45′.
